Experienced Swimming Pool Repair Technician (2 years +)

**Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have experience in making repairs/installing/troubleshooting Swimming Pool equipment. Swimming Pool cleaning, maintenance and chemical knowledge are also highly sought after in this hire.**

If you have any experience in diving, leak detection, tile repair, or concrete removal and patching, your resume will definitely stand out to us.
***You MUST have a clean, valid, Class C, California Driver’s License.*** DMV report required.

What we require:
- Valid drivers license – clean.
- Full background check, including driving record
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, programming, troubleshooting and any swimming pools in the past is our ideal hire.
- Motivated attitude, willing to learn.
- Computer and smartphone literate.
- Communication is key.
Job Outline:
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. (maybe more)
- Detail oriented
- Able to carry all necessary items to and from pool
- Willing to work with high voltage and possibly dangerous conditions
- Willing to work with hazardous chemicals and take necessary precautions
- Good communication skills, written and spoken (English)
- It is important to communicate and follow up with the pool owners and office staff.
- Must be tolerant of dogs
Tasks:
- Be dispatched to pre-scheduled jobs every morning.
- Keep your truck clean inside and out.
- Lock up valuables.
- Perform standard or upgraded services.
- Inspect all equipment and verify proper functionality, leave work order on-site or email recommendations or work performed.
- When performing upgraded service, test water on-site or bring back for computerized analysis.
- Use our custom iPhone app to communicate all services performed and special notes.
- Communicate with customers throughout job process.
- Clean filters on-site when needed.
- Be prepared to repair, but also to sell products to customers who need them.
- Be green (energy efficient), in thought for our customers.
- Inclement weather conditions may change scope of work performed.
- Represent the company in a professional manner.
- Always respect the customer and their property.
- Be prepared to use credit card reader in field to capture funds
- Operate most work through Laptop Computer
- Create Estimates & Invoices
- Collect Payment for work performed.
- Utilize manufacturer tech support
- Utilize manufacturer schematics and internet to find part numbers & solutions
- Willingness to familiarize oneself with part numbers as well as description.
- Attention to detail a plus
- Brevity stressed at most times
- Resourcefulness a plus
