This job description defines the authority, responsibilities, duties, and standards of performance of the Contracts Auditor for Geremia Pools.

BASIC FUNCTION

The primary function of the Contracts Auditor is to organize and control the administrative and operational support services of the Operations Department for Geremia Pools.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education Required: High School Graduate. Computer training for accounting programs and associated spreadsheets preferred.
• Experience Preferred: At least three years of experience in construction or pool production or administration.
• The expected work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5pm.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Contracts Auditor reports to the Sales Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

The principal responsibilities and duties of the Contracts Auditor are as follows:

• The audit function is designed to ensure uniformity between the sales contract, the construction plan, and the job cost breakdown.
• Audits are also required of addendums to the contract for accuracy.
• Review contract documents submitted by the sales staff before construction.
• Compare the construction drawing with the spreadsheet and contract specification sheet for uniformity. Time is of the essence to aid in the scheduling of the project.
• Complete the audit, review with the salesperson, so the construction plan is accurate and keep organized all contract and subcontractor documents.
• Review the salesperson’s revised construction plan.
• Print out all required forms for distribution to the construction department and purchasing.
• Send all the necessary paperwork to the appropriate parties upon completion of the audit. Maintain the project files for future reference.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

All designated contracts, addendums, and distributions are completed as required.

All other administrative production functions to operate smoothly and professionally.
